Fun with Burlap- Fall Wreath!

I was in a crafty mood and I went to pinterest to check out my boards for some inspiration. After a spell of time, I decided we needed a fall wreath for our front door. Once I unglued myself from the computer I came up with my shopping list. Its always fun to go on a crafty shopping spree, but without a list it can get dangerous... going up and down the aisles getting anything that appeals to you... You know how it is! If you have a list you have a path of where to go which then cuts down on the aimless wandering and some of those not so necessary purchases!

With my dusty burlap in hand, a straw wreath, some t-stick pins, and some fall picks and leaves I was on my way! This was way easier then I thought it would be. I have a natural burlap and a black burlap that I used to make the cones for the wreath. I cut squares that were 6x6 for the natural burlap and the black were about 3x3.. Doesn't need to be exact either! You then take the squares and roll them into a cone, take a pin and stick it into the wreath! Easy Peasy!!! After I had the burlap all in place I had to decide how to decorate it. That was tough since I had a lot of cute ideas. I finally settled on one and went and got the hot glue gun! Added a few leaves and a fall pick and Voila! We have a pretty fun front door wreath that will be used until I break out our Christmas decorations!!

Without further ado here is the wreath! I hope you enjoy it. If you need any wreath ideas, just check out my wreath idea board on pinterest.  Here is the link to my wreath board!
