Have a Very Merry Christmas!

Like most of you we have lots of holiday happenings. Last night we did our own present exchange since we would be out and about the next two days. We opened our presents and then went out and looked at christmast lights in the nearby towns. Its a little disappointing that there is no White Christmas.. Usually we have a little if not a lot by this time of year. Today. Christmas festivities with my family. The dessert looks great if I do say so! The presents are almost all packed in the car and ready to go! Then tomorrow we go to his parents house in the morning to exchange gifts and to his grandmother's for Christmas lunch. Lots to do, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Being busy means we have family and friends to share the holidays with which is a blessing!

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and safe travels.

Can you say Christmas Cards?

I got my christmas cards, done. They are all addressed and ready to be sent off as well. Such a great feeling to have yet another  thing off  the to do list. Cookies have also been baked for the cookie exchange at work, and now I can sit back and relax, BUT WAIT! That is right I have one other yearly tradition I need to complete. I need to come up with 12 awesome layouts for my parent's annual calendar. I am such a procrastinator! Well lets get back to what I do have done! Those awesome cards! Here are some pics of them. I would have loved to make more and I think I will continue with that once I get the calendar done. That way I will be ahead of the game for next year. So far I have  used the following lines for my cards, Doodlebug, Authentique, Teresa Collins, and Jillibean. I loved working with all those lines all are vey fun to work with.

So here they are, I hope they inspire you if you are a procrastinator like myself or if you are going to work on more for the upcoming holiday season, either way Happy Creating!

First off are ones done with Teresa Collins, I love the classy feel of this line. I love the rich colors and bold patterns done in christmas colors.

Next are a few I did with Authentique paper line. Love this more country/homey christmas line. I used some embellishments that I have had around for awhile from Making Memories.

Next are some by Jillibean, I love this cute line. I really love the penquins.I have the stamps, and intend to make some cute tags and other stamped card here at a later date. I have them stamped and now I just need to finish coloring them!

And then I have my doodlebug cards. Their products are just way too cute! I had so much fun working with the bright untraditional colors and all the cool stickers and doodlepops. There stuff is super easy to work with, especially for card makers.

Thank you for looking I hope these gave you all some inspiration!! Happy Holidays! I can't believe Christmas is only a week away.. My oh my how fast this year flew by!

I am back with lots of fun craftiness!

Well I have had a long enough hiatus. The holiday season puts me in craft mode 101! I actually got 3, yes 3 projects completed in the last couple of weeks. I am so excited to share. Pinterest is what got me hooked on some wreaths. We have a beautiful front door at our house and its very bare! I whipped up two wreaths. One is more traditional christmas with green, burgandy, cream and browns. The other is more winterish that can be left out for quite a few months here in good ol' Wisconsin!  So here is some pics of the tulle wreaths that I whipped up! I love making these!  It's so much fun looking for colors of tulle and finding things to decorate them!

The next project I had sitting in my garage for some time waiting for inspiration to hit. I work at a school and I am all for supporting what the students do. The wood shop kids have a sale towards the end of the year of the items that they learn to make. It just so happened that I needed a couple of nightstands for the extra bedroom.. I picked up two unfinished stands, that sat in the garage for a few months... sorry to say.. but I soon figured out how I wanted to finish them off. I think they look perfect in the room! I hope to redo the dresser I have had ever since I remember as well to match!  Here is what some gloss black and cream paint can do along with some fun door knobs that I found at Hobby Lobby!

It feels so good to get things checked off the crafty wish list! Now next  I have one digital calendar to make, one scrappy calendar to make, and a butt load of holiday cards! Who else is neck deep in holiday craftiness? I wish everyone happy creating!
